Jadiknye, kitorg akan dikuarantinkan! (ni mmg istilah yg office guna ;p

Rabu ni nnt, 29hb tu la, kitorg akan duk kat satu kelas (bkn exam kt exam hall) n dijaga oleh bbrp org penjaga exam. kitorg akan amik satu paper kul 10 pg. then kitorg kena stay kt klas tu, solat etc, hgga la bt lg satu paper plak petang nya nnt. Dh habis 2-2 paper, baru leh balik.
Haa…mmg kuarantin sgguh la kn!

Walau pun rasa xbest sgt sbb xdpt exam skali ng kwn2 klas, including nabilah, tp x ape lah. Ni experience yg jarang2 org dpt kn? Ce tanya, brp ramai grad uia yg penah merasa kuarantin nih??hehe..
Bydway, mujur one of those 14 students tu, ada ehem2..heh ;)

Today is 19th October 2008 which means it is one month already after the SRC AGM.

I purposely let my blog not updated because to wait until a month (my blog iddah period, hehe…) is this a good reason??? Perhaps, yes!! ;)

Alhamdulillah, selesai juga amanah kami selaku exco SRC selama kurang lebih setahun.

There are so many things that I learned throughout the tenure.

Emm, ada yang manis, pahit, masam manis, masin etc.. sumenya dah saya rasai…

bagi saya, it is normal..

Hehe.. rasa macam baru je campus election.. on ‘D’ day, penat btul bekempen masa bulan puasa… then, petang plak berdebar-debar menunggu results election. Sedar2 dah setahun pun… huuuu….

Bila dah jadi SRC ni, semacam ada satu ‘forcing factor’ yang buatkn kita rasa kene lebih serius dalam study..

Ha, sebabnya mudah jer~sbb classmate kenal n tahu kita ni SRC;) They also tend to have an expectation pada kita..

so, takleh la nak main2 dalam klas dah. Hehe…

takleh nak tido2 dalam klas (w’pun kadang2 bila xtahan sangat, sy terrrrtido jgk;p,

and takleh dah nak lewat2 g klas.

Ha, nak tau?? Sblm jd SRC,sy mmg selalu je lewat ke klas. Smpaikan masa berkempen dulu, ada kakak tu cakap “anis, kita sekelas FM. Akak cam anis sbb anis selalu masuk klas FM lambat”. Tuhan sajalah yang tau betapa malunya saya masa tu!!! Heh heh…

ha!!! Teringat saya kt sorang kawan yg dah tegur saya..

“tak baik g klas lmbat. Patutnya kita yang tunggu lecturer, bukannya lecturer
yang masuk dulu dari kita. Lagipun, tu cara untuk tunjukkan yang kita hormati
ilmu…”

Thanks teguran tu. bila cakap pasal menghormati ilmu, terkesan sungguh di hati ini (cewah!!!)

Ha, yang seterusnya, bila dah jadi SRC ni, kene pandai2 bahagi masa untuk baaanyak benda..

Ada orang dia sng je, bgun pagi, g klas, blk klas, mlm duk kt bilik study then tdo.

Ada org, dia bgun pg, g klas, ptg ke malam dia duk main2.

Mst kite rasa jeles ngan org2 ni, nmpak mcm dia byk masa free kn..

tp igt, masa yg semua manusia ada tetap 24 jam..jadik, cmne kite nk make full use of the 24 hours given for us?

Sy penah pergi talk by abg amin idris. Abg amin ade tekankan beza ‘mengisi masa’ dan ‘menggunakan masa’. Kite ni sll nya mengisi masa tp kite igtkan kite dh mggunakan masa ng efficient. (macam xde beza je...) Beza sbnrnya! (sy xbaik hati plak utk explain lbih psl ni..hehe..sorry lah ye!)

Rasanya ckup lah tu srba ckt yg sy dpt share bnd2 yg sy blaja bila jd src ni.

And surely, time kasih pd shbt2 src yg sgt amat banyak menolong memudahkan kerja2 sy sbgai treasurer..

1.Can you tell us a little bit about your personal details?

2.As one of the previous candidates,what were your manifestos to show that you can help
students' welfare?
-To request for a shop at the KENMS building
-To seek for better and sufficient facilities in KENMS


3.What among your manifestos that had been realised and at the same time it showed
that you had fulfill your promises?
-Kiosk – we had a meeting with the EMSS, BECS, BACC and BBA Association. We set up a combined proposal and tasks were delegated to each rep of SRC, EMSS and associations. We proposed to build a kiosk at the gazebo (between the café and the photocopy shop). Then, we had several discussions with the administration but unfortunately, some difficulties arise. You can refer to the notice that has been signed by Prof. Dr. Maliah Sulaiman which had been pasted around the kulliyyah for further details.
-Facilities – we have identified several facilities that need to be improved in KENMS and we have forwarded these issues to the relevant authorities. Some actions had been taken by them.


4.Maybe there are some of your manifestos that cannot be realised because of certain
conditions.So,what were your manifestos that cannot be realised?

5.During previous election, maybe there have some difficulties to promote yourself as one
of the candidates?Can you tell us some of that..
Being the only sister among the candidates, it gives difficulty and advantage to me. The difficulty is when I am quite shy when communicating with brothers. But Alhamdulillah throughout the campaign, I managed to overcome my weaknesses. And the advantage is, being the only female makes me unique.


6.Can you tell us your expectations for future election?
Personally, I hope the next campus election will be fair and just.


7.Generally what is the SRC's manifesto as a whole...

There are so many things that I learned throughout being the students’ representative, thus I hope OTHERS will get the experience too

A climax of stupidity is when you are doing the same action while hoping for a better result. Always try to improve ourselves in everything we do insyaALLAH.

I just came back from a trip to Kalimantan. it is a programme organised by the MOHE(Ministry of Higher Education) for the student leaders of 20 IPTAs in Malaysia.

This is a very interesting trip, and a lot of interesting and educational experience were gained during my trip there. Two things that I would like to share from my trip; the experience that I got while mingling with the community, and second the discussion with their student leaders. I will explain more in the next posting, in the mean time I will share my trip pics :-)

wireless briefing

Students’ Representative Council 2007/2008would like to invite all of IIUM students to attend IIUM WIRELESS BRIEFING & REGISTRATION SESSION

Date / Day : 30th July 2008 / Wednesday
Time : Session 1 (10am - 12pm)
Session 2 (2.30pm - 5pm)
Venue : Cultural Activity Centre

Attendance is compulsory for all students including students who have attended previous wireless briefing. Students are required to bring along the following during the said event:Laptop / Notebook (if any)Student Smarcard(attendance will be recorded)
There will be booth exhibition from various ICT vendors.

Time : 10am-5pm
Venue : CAC

During the said event, cheap notebooks and ICT peripherals will be on sale exclusively for IIUM community. Among ICT vendors are :

Dialogue for Students Leaders

Welfare secretariat of SRC 07/08 was initiated a slot called as a Dialogue for Students Leaders with Administartion. The slot was attended by all KBS and MRC with staff of administration in IIUM. The slot is meant to discuss about problems faces by IIUM students in term of facilities, scholarship, security, and also their rights as a student.

It was conducted by the chaiperson of welfare sec. Bro Yusof Nor. Among the administration staff who attend the slot are our Deputy Rector of Students Affairs and Alumni, Ustaz Hamidon Abdul Hamid, Dr Akmal Khuzairy, Director of Student Development Division, Mdm Nuriah from FFSD, Madam Sakinah from Mahallah administration, Encik Wahab from security managment, Bro Nik Hazimin from Sponsorship unit, and also a staff from legal unit.

There are many 'hot questions' and 'hot suggestions' and also 'hot issues' that has been raised up by the students leaders during the slot. Some of the issues are:
* Budget implication
* Bureaucracy
* Kulliyah Representative in SRC
* CACP system
* Security
* Maintanence
* Dress code
* Transportation
* Clinic

We from SRC, hope that this slot will give a great satisfaction to all the students leaders and take it as one medium of communication with administration. We also come out with some resolutions that has been submited to Ust Hamidon for his actions.We really hope that the administration will take an actions towards all the comments and suggestions. We will wait for the changes..InsyaAllah.:)

It is my pleasure to say that, the program was success and congrats to all welfare secratariat committees who work very hard to conduct this program. You guys have done a great job!!!:)
